The water recycling system used during furnace drain is designed to be environmentally friendly and efficient, ensuring minimal water loss and high safety standards. The system involves draining molten glass from the furnace into a stream where it is sprayed with high-pressure water as it moves through a channel. The mixture of hot water and glass is then separated in a scraper, with the glass falling into a tank for collection and recycling as cullet.

The hot water, approximately 98°C, is directed through several tanks for cooling and decantation. In the final stage, the water passes through a cooling tower before being pumped back into the stream. This closed-loop system only requires evaporated water to be replaced, making it an ideal solution in areas with limited water availability. The system recycles around 90,000 liters of water every hour, which amounts to 2,160,000 liters in 24 hours, achieving an 80% savings in water usage.

This comprehensive water recycling system ensures efficient and safe furnace draining while minimizing water loss and environmental impact. It is suitable for all furnace designs and allows for easy and quick installation, including a complete electrical setup.
