The Zero Port Boosting System uses natural gas, propane or LNG with automatic heating value control and single burner operation supported by failsafe systems according to SIL 2 and EN 746 2. The plug and play design enables easy installation and high efficiency burner performance with flame lengths up to 6 meters. Oxyfuel boosting further enhances melting by using oxygen instead of air, increasing flame temperature and improving thermal radiation through higher CO2 and H2O concentration. This makes the process more efficient and supports higher melting performance. Zero port oxyfuel boosting is widely used in glass furnaces to increase pull rates and improve product quality. By supplying an extra 10 to 15 percent of energy into the critical melting zone, the system helps maximize capacity, improve refining and extend furnace lifetime.
