The Regulating Hot Air Burner is designed for operation with gas or oil injectors, allowing quick changeover during production adjustments or emergency situations. Originally developed for recuperative glass melting furnaces, it is now also used in preheaters, air heaters, and various metal heating applications. The burner casing supports preheated air temperatures up to 850°C, with optional refractory lining available for higher-temperature requirements.
A centrally positioned fuel injector and an integrated laminar flow conditioner create a stable, low velocity flame that promotes even temperature distribution and helps minimize NOx formation. When equipped with gas or oil injectors, the burner enables precise control of flame length and width. Optional features include adjustable injector angles for staged combustion, ignition systems, sight ports, and ultraviolet flame detection. Each burner and block arrangement can be configured to meet specific furnace or process needs.
