The burner operates with very low oxygen and fuel velocities, creating a low momentum flame with reduced peak temperature to support efficient radiation into the glass melt.
In emergency situations the burner can be removed and replaced quickly using the integrated quick connectors, allowing fast changeover to a backup fuel burner.
