The Split Stream Forehearth Burner is a patented oxygen burner that uses two colliding streams to create a flat, stable flame profile. Its purpose is to maintain consistent glass temperature along the sides of the forehearth, preventing edge cooling that can cause uneven flow, quality defects and bubble formation. The burner can project heat uniformly across the forehearth width, reaching the far wall while applying only moderate influence on the central glass stream. Because oxygen and fuel mix only after leaving the burner block, the system meets high safety requirements and can be easily controlled through individual or grouped valve settings. Individual burners can be switched off as needed, and the burner block can be designed for direct retrofitting of existing air fuel forehearth systems, allowing flexible integration into a wide range of installations.

Option to switch off Burners at NO risk of back firing
Improved temperature homogeneity of the glass
Low maintenance
Easy to set up and handle, as there is no pre-mixing of Oxygen and fuel
No blowers required for the combustion
